How many of you out there dream of a better tomorrow? How often do you sit around and dream of a better life than you have right now? We can always think of something better than we have right now. It does not mean that we do not like what we have today, but we always want more than we have today.

How many of you have a vision? I know that some of you have a vision, but I would be willing to bet that most of you are living you life with a dream for a better tomorrow. So, what is a vision? I believe a dream is something that would be nice to have and a vision is something we really want to make happen. I know that sounds like a goal, but I view a vision as the whole picture of your life and a goal is specific to a certain aspect of your life. For example, your vision may include a description of a healthy you, and a goal would be to exercise every day.

Another difference between a dream and a vision is the action. If you are taking action, then you have a vision. If you are not taking action, then you just have a dream.

How do you make a vision a reality? Step one, make it vivid. Describe it in as much detail as you can. Write it down and keep refining it. See, feel, and touch your vision and do it daily. Spend time in your vision. In this step, this may be spending time dreaming and that is ok. Make sure you describe your vision is so much detail that it starts to feel real to you.

Step two, describe the person you need to become to make that vision a reality. I know that many of you will think that you are that person today, but I am going to say that you are not, because if you were that person today, you would be attracting your vision. So, take time and really feel into what kind of a person you are in your vision. How do you act, how do you move, how do you feel. Connect with that you that is living that vision. Become that person in that vision today.

If you cannot become the person in your vision today, then figure out what you need to change to become that person. What do you need to do, what do you need to learn. If that person depends on something physical, like a certain amount of money, then you need to go back and look at that person. The person you are in your vision is not dependent upon things. The person in your vision will attract things, but things do not attract who you need to be.

Step three, feel into what actions you need to take to make the vision a reality. You may not get anything at first, but keep listening and you will start to attract what you need to make the vision a reality. Keep an open mind, because some of the actions may not make any sense to you, but go with them.

Step four, take action. As you get actions that you need to take, take the actions. They could be simple actions or actions that make you stretch, but take the actions. For example, an action may be to call somebody. Well, call them. You do not need to know why, just take the action.

Step five, appreciate the journey. Getting your vision may come quickly, or it may come slowly. Either way, appreciate what is coming your way. Appreciate your challenges. Appreciate your failures. Appreciate everything around you.

Finally, take as many of these steps as you can every day. These steps are not meant to be taken one after the other and then you have your vision. These steps are meant to be done and repeated, because a good vision will change and expand, you will change and expand, and that will cause you to do more and different actions and appreciate everything!
